BAND OF TWO FOLK DANCE BAND

Ever since Pete & Garry started playing over thirty years ago they have performed in various folk dance band combinations.  The past four or five years, has seen the duo accepting more and more enquiries for folk dances, predominantly as part of wedding functions, corporate functions and festivals. Within the limitations of a duo, Band Of Two is probably one of the best folk-dance acts in Britain.  Dynamic and driving rhythm guitar and lead lines on fiddle are Pete and Garry's forte and for a folk dance the music is infectious!  Pete and Garry's choice of 'caller' whenever possible is Mick Scott.  Anyone who has encountered Mick will know that his acid wit has helped the band through the most difficult of circumstances.  Pete met Mick when he joined the Northwood Morris Men many years ago and the pair have remained friends ever since.  Mick also performs under the guise of the Hurly Burly Theatre Company combining street theatre with kid's entertainment.

THE 'ANDSOME CABIN BUOYS

Pete came up with the title based on an old sea song.  And that is primarily what the quartet performs. Sea songs old and new including shanties and more modern numbers such as 'Haul On The Ropes' and Shep's own 'Overboard'. But this doesn't mean it's sea songs all night as the band’s performance is sprinkled with plenty of humour and those all-important hornpipes including ''Portsmouth”

THE SHEP WOOLLEY BAND

Shep is one of those entertainers who, once seen is never forgotten. Since Pete & Garry first teamed up with Shep it can be said that the duo are never happier than when they are in his company.  You are guaranteed a great night out with a repertoire that covers most forms of popular music.  'Those Were The Days', 'American Pie' and 'Sailing' are just some of the songs which coupled with Shep's unique brand of entertainment are a must for any concert or festival!
